Data Collection and Use

When an account is created, 04VPN processes the username and password credentials chosen by the user for account identification, login verification, and access control. An email address is not required for registration, so it is not collected during account creation. If a user voluntarily submits other information in a support ticket, that information is used only to handle the relevant request.

When purchasing a subscription or data package, the system stores the order number, selected item, amount, payment status, creation time, and necessary transaction references. This information is used to deliver the service, verify orders, process refunds, resolve billing disputes, and maintain account records. The service also processes account traffic usage totals, plan status, and expiration status to manage traffic resets, access permissions, and user panel displays.

When visiting the marketing site or user panel, technical data such as page visit records, referring pages, browser type, device system, error information, network address, and approximate region may be processed. This information is used to analyze site performance, identify abnormal requests, fix compatibility issues, and improve on-site navigation. It is not used to build a user’s browsing history across international websites.

No-Logs Practices and Connection Records

04VPN does not record which websites users access through its network acceleration service. It does not retain access content, search content, or a destination list that could be used to reconstruct specific browsing activity. Traffic content is not used for advertising profiles or marketing analytics.

To establish connections, measure traffic, troubleshoot faults, and prevent abuse, the system may use necessary operational information during processing, such as connection time, selected route, client version, error codes, and account traffic usage totals. Event information is retained only for as long as needed for the relevant operational purpose; after that purpose is complete, it is deleted or converted into aggregated data that cannot be used to reconstruct specific access activity. Order records and connection operations information are handled separately, and payment records are not used to infer users’ access content.

Cookies and Local Storage

The website may use cookies or browser local storage to save login sessions, interface language, navigation state, and necessary security markers. These data help maintain login status, restore user choices, and reduce repeated actions. They are not used for cross-site advertising tracking.

Users can clear cookies and local storage through their browser settings. After clearing them, login status, language preferences, or page settings may need to be selected again. If the browser restricts necessary storage, functions such as user panel login, order viewing, and client downloads may not be able to maintain their state properly.

Third-Party Payments and Data Sharing

04VPN supports Alipay, WeChat Pay, and USDT. Payments are processed by the relevant payment service or transaction network, and their data practices are governed by the applicable service rules. 04VPN receives the payment result, transaction reference, and status information needed to complete an order. Users are not required to submit complete third-party payment account credentials on this service’s pages.

Except where needed to complete payments, provide necessary infrastructure, handle a user-initiated request, or meet applicable requirements, 04VPN does not sell account data to unrelated third parties. Service providers acting on its behalf may process data only to the extent needed for the specified service and must apply safeguards appropriate to their responsibilities.

Data Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates

Account data is retained while the account remains in use. Order and transaction reference records are retained for billing verification, refund processing, dispute resolution, and necessary compliance requirements. Support ticket data is retained until the request is handled and no longer needed for follow-up review. Operational information is processed under the minimization principles described above and is not accumulated into a long-term browsing history.

Users can sign in to the user panel and submit a support ticket to request access to, correction of, or deletion of account data. Once a deletion request is completed, data no longer needed in the account will be removed or disassociated from it. Records still covered by an order dispute, security incident, or applicable requirement may continue to be retained until the relevant matter ends. Deleting an account may make existing subscriptions, order access, and client connections unavailable.

This policy may be updated as service processes, features, or applicable requirements change. Updated versions will be posted on this page, and the last-updated date at the top will be changed accordingly. If a change materially affects how data is processed, 04VPN will provide notice through available user panel notifications. Before continuing to use the service, users can review the latest version and decide whether to continue.
